TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) is a flexible polymer that combines plastic toughness with rubber elasticity.

• It’s widely used for phone cases, gaskets, seals, and wearable parts.

• Shore hardness: 95A

• Density: ~1.20 g/cm³

• Glass transition temperature (Tg): −50 °C

• Nozzle temperature: 210–230 °C

• Bed temperature: 40–60 °C (Not necessary on pei)

• Speed: Slow (20–40 mm/s) to prevent filament buckling.

• Direct drive extruder preferred: Bowden setups struggle with flexible filaments.

• Ventilation: Minimal fumes, safe to print indoors.
